An original fisherman’s net hammock from the pacific coast, in medium size. Handcrafted by our partner Alfonso, its cotton meshes are the guarantee of an optimal weight distribution in each lying position. Unlike all our hammocks, this particular type is hand-woven according to a great local traditional know-how. The techniques involved are similar to the ones used to weave hammocks in the nearby Yucatán. Identical to the ones used daily by the inhabitants of the Pacific coast of Guatemala, those hammocks are extremely robust and comfortable.
Made of soft natural cotton threads, this hammock is an ideal piece of furniture for your decor and your comfort. To preserve it, we recommend using an appropriate fixation kit, like Ropes and Woods, as well as washing your hammock in its bag, using the delicate program of your machine. It’s also preferable not to leave it exposed to rain, humidity or below zero temperatures.
Each Mayan-dreams hammock, handcrafted by hand, is unique. The dimensions of your hammock may therefore slightly vary from this standard description. A hammock brings an extra relaxing space and a wonderful decor touch in a home or a garden.
