In this extra large version, three strips of fabric are stitched together in a traditional arrow pattern by the women of local Mayan communities. The exceptional width of the fabric allows you to lie across it, a recommended position for ideal back support. The fine fabric used to craft our hammock is woven on traditional wooden looms. The result is a textile as soft as it is robust. The traditional fabric of our Mayan hammocks has been rigorously tested by a European laboratory for resistance and chemicals in 2023.
When reasonably used, you can keep such a quality handwoven hammock intact for many years. Preferably, don’t let the fabric of your hammock be exposed to rain or below zero temperatures. To preserve it and your cloth, we recommend washing your hammock alone by hand or in its bag, using the delicate program of your washing machine.
Mayan traditions are treasures; buying an original product means owning an exclusive quality while supporting a community.

The fabric is soft and beautiful. The hammock will be a great place for my family to relax and enjoy the summer.
