- IHTM – Hammock Protocol for stability and endurance
- ISO 18254-1 standards
Handcrafted by our partner Alfonso, this hammock is woven following age-old local techniques. Similar to the styles found in nearby Yucatán, it’s identical to those used daily by the people of Guatemala. Made from soft natural cotton threads, it’s a perfect addition to your home for both style and comfort.
With proper care, a quality fisherman’s hammock can last for many years. To protect it, avoid prolonged exposure to rain or freezing temperatures, store it carefully when not in use, and use a rounded hanging kit such as our Ropes and Woods system. For washing, place it in its cotton bag and use a delicate machine cycle.
Each Mayan Dreams hammock is unique, with slight variations in dimensions due to its handmade nature. It makes a thoughtful gift and adds both a relaxing retreat and a touch of character to any home or garden.
Mayan traditions are treasures; by choosing an original, you enjoy exclusive quality while supporting a community.
