Our fisherman’s net hammocks in Yucatán style have been tested by an “Intertek” laboratory in France.
They have successfully undergone several tests like:
- REACH: Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals in EU
- IHTM – Hammock Protocol for stability and endurance
- ISO 18254-1 standards
A wonderful net hammock from the Pacific coast, handcrafted by our partner Alfonso. Unlike all our hammocks, this net hammock with gray lines is hand-woven according to a local traditional know-how. This hammock, quite similar to the one from nearby Yucatán, is identical to the one used by the inhabitants of Guatemala. As it is made of soft natural cotton threads, it is an ideal piece of furniture for your decor and your comfort.
When reasonably used, it is possible to keep a hammock intact for many years. It’s preferable not to leave it exposed to rain or below-zero temperatures. To preserve it, we recommend storing it carefully. It is also recommendable to wash it in its bag, using the delicate program of the machine.
Each Mayan Dreams hammock, handcrafted by hand, is unique. The dimensions of your net hammock with gray stripes may therefore slightly vary from this standard description. It can make a nice present. Such a hammock also brings an extra relaxing space and a wonderful decor touch to any loft or terrace.
