1. Orders & Products

Can I modify my order after placing it?

Yes, we want to keep things simple and flexible for our customers. That’s why we are always available to adjust your order free of charge while it is still being processed.

How can I place an order?

Simply through our website – in Switzerland, payment by invoice is also possible – or by phone or email – Contact.
If you live outside Switzerland, you may prefer to use our ByMayanDreams Boutique on Etsy to avoid any possible additional import taxes upon delivery.

Can I track my order?

Yes, all our parcels are shipped with Swiss Post and come with a tracking code: https://www.post.ch/en.


2. Payment & Security

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept invoice payments within 30 days (Switzerland only), as well as payments by debit card, credit card, Google Pay, and Twint.

Is my payment secure?

Our payment partners, such as Twint and Zahls.ch for credit card payments, guarantee the highest level of security in Switzerland and internationally.

Are international shipping costs / taxes / customs duties included in your prices?

Please note that these may vary depending on the destination country and may be charged separately.


3. Delivery & Returns

What are the delivery times within Switzerland / abroad?

We guarantee delivery within 3 working days – or 2 days upon request – for Switzerland.
For shipments outside Switzerland, please allow for possible customs delays. However, our parcels generally reach their destination reliably (we have already shipped Mayan hammocks to 5 continents). All shipments are trackable via the Swiss Post website.

What is your return / exchange policy?

We accept returns in case of proven damage or product defects.
If the return is requested without these reasons, we reserve the right to charge handling and return costs.

Who are your partners?

We aim to work with local actors in trade and handicraft promotion, preferably on a regional level.

5. Ethical & Traditional Commitment

Where do Mayan-Dreams products come from, are they exclusive?

Our fabric and net hammocks, as well as hammock chairs, are all exclusive Mayan-Dreams products – 100% handmade in Guatemala.

Our fixing kits are manufactured in Switzerland – lacquered, polished, sanded, and engraved.
Wall hooks and hammock stands come from our friend and partner Tropical Hamac – the French specialist in Latin American hammocks for more than 35 years.


6. Customer Service / Miscellaneous

Do we offer gift wrapping?
Do we provide small gifts and repairs?

Both! We love to share another secret from Guatemala by including a piece of loofah or pumice stone as a gift with our parcels. We also offer repair services and replace hooks, chair wood, and spreader bars for Mayan-Dreams hammocks for our customers.
